Term Camp

Camp Alleghany offers two 3-week sessions for girls ages 8 to 16. Campers live in a tent with three other campers and one counselor. Girls ages 8-12 live in Junior Camp, while 13- to 16-year olds live in Senior Camp. The oldest campers, ages 15 and 16, live in a tent next door to their counselor. Campers sign up for four of the activities offered, and take those four classes all term. During these three weeks they develop new skills, practice old ones, and achieve a sense of accomplishment in each activity while having fun along the way! In addition, they meet lifelong friends and learn valuable life skills as they grow and mature in responsibility, confidence, and self-esteem.
